FOCUS Program

Objective:  To enhance early detection, linkage to care, and treatment adherence for blood-borne viruses (BBVs) among migrant communities in the Lisbon Region. Through the implementation of an integrated screening program, the strengthening of culturally competent peer navigation, and the establishment of a dedicated support team to address healthcare access barriers, the Project’s first year aims to improve health outcomes, reduce stigma, and ensure equitable access to essential healthcare services for migrants, including undocumented individuals.
