GAT Afrik

GAT Afrik started on September 15, 2019.

GAT Afrik is a confidential and free integrated response service aimed at the migrant population of African origin and all those in irregular and vulnerable situations with difficulties in accessing health care.

Although the center is aimed at this population, it is open to the general population (to the extent of its capacity to respond) and offers the following services:
1) Availability of condoms (external and internal), water-based lubricating gel, and information material.
2) Peer Counselling.
3) Rapid, anonymous, confidential, and free peer-to-peer testing for HIV, hepatitis B virus, hepatitis C virus, and syphilis.
4) Referral and liaison for a hospital follow-up and primary health care settings.
5) Navigation in social and health services to eliminate possible barriers.
6) Medical and nursing consultation.
7) Social assistance and referral to other social services.
