GAT Setúbal started its activity on September 7th, 2021.
GAT Setúbal is a community-based sexual health and risk reduction center that promotes an anonymous, free, and confidential service that offers the following services:
1) Rapid testing for HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and syphilis infections;
2) Referral and support for connection to the National Health Service;
3) Monitoring specialist appointments (HIV, viral hepatitis, sexually transmitted infections) and carrying out complementary diagnostic tests;
4) Medical and nursing appointments;
5) Social support in accessing health care;
6) Distribution of material for safer sexual practices (condoms; lubricating gel);
7) Distribution of material for safer drug consumption;
8) Health literacy promotion.
